I have officially begun 11th Grade!

Classes

I was initially dreading the new school year as most people claim it is the hardest year of high school, but so far it has been simpler than sophmore year. I've also been very excited to take the next level of visual arts and joining the National Art Honors Society to tap into more art related projects around my school! My other classes, however, (Calculus AB/BC and AP Chemistry) constantly keep me on my toes. Overall, my teachers have been amazing during these first few weeks and I am truly looking forward to this fall semester.

Projects

This year I wanted to participate in a HOSA competition to further showcase my fervor for orthodontics! The club HOSA, for those who don't know, stands for Health Occupations Students of America and dedicates their goals towards future healthcare professionals. The event I chose was Health Career Display which entails creating a 40 second video on my rationale for choosing a specific career to display. I will be choosing orthodontics (of course), since this will give me an opprotuinity to explore the career in depth and view the future job outlook.

I can't wait to see what highschool has in store for me this year. Happy back to school!
